2007 “Belle-Amie” (Beautiful Friend) Rosé, Santa Barbara County

Beauty is universal. Friends are special. The symmetry of the unique beauty of each friend is what enriches our lives. With our Rosé, Belle-Amie, we embrace this philosophy exhibited in this classic rosé made from Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. With crisp acidity and full-bodied mid-palate, it’s perfect to drink with friends on a warm summer day.

2006 “L'Imaginaire” (Imaginary One) Grenache, Santa Barbara
$40
Grenache is a fickle grape, but one of our favorites. Although it is one of the tougher grapes to grow, the rewards in the glass are well worth it. Its finesse, subtle characteristics, and structure rival that of a great Pinot Noir. This wine has a bouquet of blackberry and blueberry jam with a hint of pepper and minerals. We threw in a bit of Mourvèdre and Syrah to keep it true to the style of the Southern Rhone region of France.

2006 “L’Etranger” (The Stranger), Sonoma County

“L’Etranger” (The Stranger) is truly a stranger amongst the Rhone and Zinfandel varietals that we produce. It blends these two worlds together – literally. This zinfandel based blend provides the upfront fruit and lingering spices of a zinfandel with a full mid-palate of a syrah with the backbone and structure of a petite syrah.
