This last October marked my 33rd year in this business. I enjoy seeing old customers and meeting new ones. One of the best things is when a customer comes back and thanks you because you picked the perfect wine for them. I am very involved with and a co-chair of “A Culinary Evening with the California Winemasters” benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The 20th annual event will be on May 16, 2009. I also enjoy my Annual Central Coast Bus Trip. The 18th annual bus trip will be some time next year. I just celebrated my 34th wedding anniversary, have two great daughters and two terrific grandkids with two more on the way.

Buffalo Trace is a 90 proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Outstanding aroma kicked off by a spicy prickle. Satisfyingly deep gentle vanilla with a sprig of mint. Waxy sweetness is checked by a big build up of vanilla rich oak. Finish dries as the oak takes command but rye offers extra depth and a layer of bitterness as does a lingering licorice.
