The Martini family developed this land into a vineyard which they named Ghost Pines as a tribute to the native gret pines which at dusk appear to hover solitary and ghostlike, throughout the coastal valleys. Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon draws from multiple winegrowing counties to create a wine as unique as the Ghost Pine itself. Layers of blackberry and dard cherry complement rich roasted vailla, Asian spice and a nutty smoke character, all surrounded by firm, integrated tannins.

Flavors of black cherry and ripe berries complement mocha and brown spice notes finishing with a generous, supple texture.

Salviano $38.95
Turlo Tenuta di Salviano
50% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Harvested and vinified separately, the grapes are fermented in small, temperature-controlled steel tanks. A maceration period of up to 12 days with frequent pumping over of the cap during the initial first days is followed by 20-25 days of malolactic fermentation. The majority of the wine is racked to cement vats and a small part is aged in French oak barriques for added complexity. With a rich, pomegranate color, the wine shows complex and intense aromas of ripe fruit and jam. It is rich in body with soft, persistent tannins.
Salviano di Salviano
50% Sauvignon Blanc, 50% Chardonnay. Each variety is harvested and vinified separately. Grape musts are chilled and clarified and are followed by fermentation in oak barriques where the wine remains for 4-5 months with lees contact. The wine is then racked and blended in cement vats where it rests until bottling. This vibrant, aromatic wine shows intense fruit and floral notes on the nose. The palate is round, lush and elegant with hints of banana, grapefruit and apple.
